Abstract
The core of this essay is that the way we consider communication has practical consequences. I will show Habermas' approach to speech acts as a good attempt to keep close communication and action. In this view, the pivotal role of the illocutive dimension is fundamental for achieving consensus. Finally, consensus is the basis for creating and criticizing social relationships
