About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Italian Journal of Philosophy of Language (RIFL – Rivista Italiana di Filosofia del linguaggio) is a online-only blind peer reviewed journal publishing articles regarding theoretical and empirical research on Language, mainly in Philosophy, Semiotics, Psychology, Psychoanalysis and Epistemology. RIFL research team privileges an interdisciplinary approach, for a more broad view of language. For this reason, RIFL invites and accepts contributions from different research traditions. RIFL publishes papers in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Russian. Each issue is divided in two parts: a monographic one, and another for papers on different subjects (Varia). A specific section of RIFL is devoted to reviews.
Peer Review Process
Every submission to RIFL undergoes double blind peer-review. Authors sent their proposals ready for blind evaluation to the editorial secretariat (email: firstname.lastname@example.org) which will send to (at least) two peer-reviewers the paper.

Open Access Policy
Rivista Italiana di Filosofia del Linguaggio (RIFL) is an Open Access Journal.
This journal does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs) and Article Submission Charges (ASC).
Open Access Journal has been defined by the Directory of Open Access Journals:
"We define open access journals as journals that use a funding model that does not charge readers or their institutions for access. From the BOAI definition of "open access" we take the right of users to "read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles" as mandatory for a journal to be included in the director".

We are going to update OJS version within mid May 2019, in order to register in digital archiving PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals.
The first issue of Rivista Italiana di Filosofia del Linguaggio (RIFL) is published in September 2009. Since 2010 RIFL provides DOI - permanent article identifier - in the papers published.
RIFL is an Open Access Journal and it is listed in the Directory Open Access Journal (DOAJ). Since 2013, the platform of the journal content is Open Journal System (OJS).
